Tarora is provided “as is,” without warranties, and is intended for readers 16 and older. Use your own judgment; you're responsible for the choices you make with what you read here. Privacy
Your readings and your attunement (name, the details you share, your tone settings) are stored locally in this browser— there is no account yet and we don't keep a copy on a server. Clearing your browser data removes them. Private draws are never saved anywhere, and are never included in the pattern summary described below. To generate a reading, the cards you drew and your question are sent to a third-party AI provider to produce the interpretation — nothing from your past readings is ever sent. If a card you've drawn before comes up again, that pattern is noticed on your own device and shown alongside the new reading, never fed into it. There is no ad tracking — see below for the one analytics tool we may turn on, and how it works.
Who we share data with, and only for the reason named: Resend sends the emails we send you (a waitlist confirmation, later an account's transactional mail); Upstash stores the waitlist list itself and powers rate-limiting so the site can't be spammed; Vercel hosts the app and, like any host, sees standard server request logs. Anonymous usage analytics (PostHog) are not turned on yet— until they are, the on-site consent prompt doesn't even appear, and nothing is sent anywhere. If we turn them on, it will be opt-in only (we ask once, you can change your answer anytime in Settings → Usage data), and this page will already say so before that switch is flipped, not after. None of these ever receive your reading text or your question — that boundary is structural in how the app is built, not a setting that can be switched off. We don't sell your data to anyone, for any reason.
If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you give us, a referral code, and the time you joined — that's it. We use it only to tell you when Tarora opens and to credit a referral, if you were sent by someone else's link. It never goes through our analytics, and it's never logged. We keep it until Tarora opens and you either create an account or ask us to delete it sooner. You can erase everything this app has stored about you at any time — once the app is open, from Settings → Delete everything; before then, or for the waitlist entry itself, email hello@tarora.app and we'll remove it by hand.
